WHY LAW?

As a kid, I wanted to be a cop; as I got older, I became less interested in the arrest and more interested in justice being served.

BIO

Born and raised in DFW, I graduated in 1998 from Fossil Ridge HS. I graduated with an AAS from TCC in Criminal Justice in 2005. After that I was transferred to New Orleans where I joined the Navy Reserves for 2 years as an Aviation Support Equipment Technician. I received my BS in Criminal Justice with an interest in pursuing law school. After some not-so-favorable LSAT scores and 4 small children, I let that dream go. I later decided to get my Master’s in Forensic Psychology because I am also interested in the “why” a person behaves the way they do. During my time in New Orleans, I have worked for a couple of Social Security Disability law firms; as a substitute teacher for K-4; a juvenile detention officer; and did transcription work for a small Vocational Rehabilitation company.
