I chose to pursue a career in law, specifically in criminal defense, because I wanted to change people’s lives. I truly believe that people make mistakes and that every person is more than the worst thing they have ever done. I chose criminal defense because I believe people deserve an advocate that will help them navigate their criminal cases in a manner that leaves them able to move forward with dignity and hope—and I wanted to be that advocate.
